While attending Fairmont State University, I competed on the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team in the 100 meter back and fly between 2009-2013. After swimming, I was looking for something that would feed my competitiveness. At first, I began training and competing in Spartan races and found that others utilized CrossFit to prepare for events. I decided to give it a chance and completely fell in love. My background in coaching includes being the Assistant Swim Coach of FAST, a developmental youth program in Fairmont, WV (2010-2014); Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swim Coach at Fairmont State University (2014-2017); and coaching private swim lessons for children from basic pool safety to competitive training (2010-2017). Furthermore, I bring experience coaching CrossFit at RoF CrossFit and RawGrit CrossFit prior to moving to Cleveland, OH in 2017 and joining the CLE family.

I love CrossFit, because it enables personal growth and through coaching I am able to facilitate growth in others. It is wonderful to watch members become stronger and healthier everyday while having fun!
