Overhead position is seen all over our CrossFit training. Regardless of what you are doing, the general principles remain the same: eyes looking straight ahead (unless we are starting to balance a handstand or handstand walk), shoulders and elbows stacked, butt and belly tight!
Skill:
10 minutes alternating OTM:
30 seconds of handstand work:
Handstand hold (with or without the wall)
Handstand walk (shoulder or hip taps)
Wall climbs
30-40 seconds of jump rope work:
Singles (forward/backward)
Doubles
Triples
WOD:
5 rounds for time: *18 minute cap
25 wallball shot 20/14# to 10/9’
15 toes to bar
5 snatch 65% of 1RM
Cooldown:
30 calories using a stroke rate of 25 s/m
